Obituary |
August 1898 Alexander Drown, one of the oldest residents of Bellmont, died August 10th, aged 79 years. Mr. Drown was a prosperous and progressive farmer, and for many years, before old age compelled him to retire from active labor, was among Bellmont's most stiring and industrious citizens. A son and two daughters reside in California while another son, Clarence E. Drown, conducts the home farm and another daughter is also a resident of this county. His wife, now well advanced in years, also survives him. |
