  Notes	From: Paul Randall The last name of Elizabeth is still unconfirmed. According to Robert Bowerman (see Second Boat Query Magazine May-Jun 1991) the "alleged Risley connection seems to come from Virkus [Compendium of American Genealogy, Vol. 6, p.785] and has been extensively studied by the Risley Family Association and rejected as impossible". From: Joe Travis There is confusing informatin about the wives fo John 'the Immigrant' and his oldest son, John. Both wives were named 'Elizabeth', but last names offered are 'Risley', 'Thurston' and 'Savory' - and I have seen them used interchangably as wives of either John.
