The above data was copied from the original outline evidently compiled by, Ralph O. Irish,

Sr. of Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, who did considerable research work on the IRISH family.

He was b. 9-30-1863 and d. 7-10-1921. We have corresponded with his son, Ralph Orrin Irish

of 4129 Lakewood Avenue, Watkins Lake, Pontiac, Michigan in 1957.

b. 12-29-1749 in Tiverton, Rhode Island; d. in 1832 in Peru, Clinton Co., N.Y.

Jonathan Irish was a native of Rhode Island and settled at

Danby, Vt. Later he moved to Au Sable Forks (at that time a

part of Peru Township) Clinton County, New York, and

resided there until his death. George Irish Sr., son of Jonathan

was born at Danby, Vermont, and at the age of 16 years,

moved with his parents to Au Sable, Clinton Co., N. Y.

7774. m., Deborah Wilbor, b. 11-11-1756; d. in 1847. Dau. of George Wilbor

and his 2nd wife Deborah Rundall. After the death of her

husband, Jonathan Irish, she

m. (2) John Barlow

The line of Deborah Wilbor is: WILBOR, Deborah6, (George5,

Thomas4, Joseph3, William2, Samuel1, b. in 1614 and settled in

Portsmouth, R. I., Thomas of England). George5, b. 1-28-1722 was

the first son of Thomas4 and Susannah (Irish) Wilbor. Thomas4

was the son of Joseph3 and Ann (Brownell) Wilbor.

of Jonathan and Rachel Wood of Peru, N. Y.

+13175. Samuel, b. about 1774; d. in 1807. His estate was probated 12-25-1807 at

Plattsburg, Clinton County, New York. From circumstantial

evidence, it seems certain that Samuel was one of the children

of this family, since the Court appointed his widow, Hannah

with Jonathan Irish and Waterman Eells as the administrators

of the estate.
