Jonathan
Irish was a native of Rhode Island and settled at
Danby,
Vt. Later he moved to Au Sable Forks (at that time a
part
of Peru Township) Clinton County, New York, and
resided
there until his death. George Irish Sr., son of Jonathan
was
born at Danby, Vermont, and at the age of 16 years,
moved
with his parents to Au Sable, Clinton Co., N. Y.

first son of Thomas4 and Susannah (Irish) Wilbor. Thomas4
was
the son of Joseph3 and Ann (Brownell) Wilbor.

evidence,
it seems certain that Samuel was one of the children
of
this family, since the Court appointed his widow, Hannah
with
Jonathan Irish and Waterman Eells as the administrators
of
the estate.
