“In the Will of John2, his son, Jedediah, was left land in Middleboro, Mass. Jedediah3

seems to have settled first in Kingston, R.I. where they had their first 7 children. In 1748,

he is called of Westerly, R.I., and in 1754 of Stonington, Conn. In his Will of 1758, he calls

himself of South Kingston, R.I., but it was probated in Connecticut."
