This home of JOHN IRISH Jr., is located directly across the road from the Friend’s Meeting House, a little west and north of the Village of Little Compton, New Port County, Rhode Island. On the left side of this picture, the part that is shingle sided is the original house built before 1700. The part on the right side has an exterior of native stone, and was added in the early 1800’s.

JOHN IRISH Jr., was born in 1641 and died on 2-21-1717. His wife, Elizabeth Savory was born in 1650 and died 3-8-1707. Both are buried near the road in the northeast part of this plot, known as Lot #16. Picture was taken in May 1958.
